Celebrating Talent and Spreading Our Message: Local Community Events!
The Final Shows were a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved, creating lasting positive change in our communities!
Our project culminated in vibrant community events held in each of our partner countries! These "Final Shows" were a fantastic opportunity for the young people who participated in our local workshops to shine and share their incredible talents with hundreds of guests.
Who Joined Us?
The audience at these events was truly diverse, reflecting the heart of our communities. We welcomed:
- Family members of the participating youth
- Other young people from disadvantaged groups
- Youth workers from partner and local NGOs
- Local government officials
- Members of the local community of all ages
We made a special effort to reach out to youth workers, young people, and particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Special invitations were also extended to local municipalities, the press, and other local NGOs to ensure our message reached far and wide.
Spreading Awareness and Celebrating Achievements
These events were designed to achieve several key objectives:
- Reaching a Wider Audience: We aimed to connect with the broader community, showcasing the captivating performances prepared by the young people and celebrating the project's overall achievements.
- Showcasing Young Talent: Each partner was responsible for organizing the logistics and ensuring a minimum of 200 attendees at their local event, where young people proudly presented a culmination of their artistic journey.
- Boosting Visibility and Raising Awareness: These Final Shows not only shared our results with a wider audience, increasing the visibility of our NGOs, youth work, and the impact of E+ funding, but also significantly raised awareness.
The Impact on Our Communities
Witnessing the strengths and abilities of youth with fewer opportunities firsthand allowed local communities to truly grasp the powerful effect of non-formal education, art, and dedicated youth work. These events resulted in:
- 200 people from each community gaining a deeper understanding of the potential within youth with fewer opportunities.
- 200 people with increased awareness about the need to be more inclusive and welcoming to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
- 200 people with improved understanding of the positive impact art can have on youth development.
After these activities the youth participating in the project went on with planning their new activities that they would like to implement for the local community in the future.
